Well today is the last day of my first week of school! It was pretty simple cause it's only the first week so I didn't have too much school! Also today I had my first day of co-op. I had intro to literature taught by Mrs. Ganster, and assisted by my mom, and Camber, then I had Physical science taught by Mrs. pfaller. Both of these classes seem like they're gonna be very fun! Although I must say science was probably a little more exciting :) Well the only downside this week is that I've been sick with a little cold, so constantly blowing my nose during school is a little distracting :P But other than that this week has been very relaxing, and organized!
One thing I have been doing in my devotions is memorizing Ephesians Chapter 1.
If I have it memorized by our next Parent/Teen meeting (Resurgence) then I get a free Resurgence shirt. The one I hope to get is a really bright blue with a really cool color that signifies an empty tomb. Here is a picture of the purple one I currently own:

On top of that here are some pictures of my Mom's birthday!(really late I know) but we just did some shopping that day, then my dad surprised her with a pretty cake:) Then we drove all the way to Cummings to eat at Red Robin! It was so good, and I didn't get any pictures of my food cause I ate it too fast! Well anyways the special thing at Red Robin's is that if you have a birthday, a big group of poeple come and sing a funny birthday song, then they give you a free sundae!

Well that has been my life for the past couple of weeks. I also would love to go to the pool a couple more times before it closes! One thing that I know that's true is that God has truly blessed this year, and this week :)

And for all of you who read my blog, thanks so much! I love having at least one reader that reads through all my writing. (Maybe it will improve after I take Mrs. Ganster's class:)
Well hope everybody has a great rest of August!

With much love,
AES
well I was tagged by Maggie Ellise

so here it is 7 Random things about me :D

1) I have played piano since I was 8, and I play everyday. If I skip a day I start going crazy and make up for it tomorrow

2) All the "just piano" songs on my blog are songs I can play.

3) I love pets and wish I could have a White Bengal Tiger (in my dreams)

4) I hope to have 15 kids, and yes I'm serious. Since I know that probably won't happen I just hope to have a lot of kids and home school them all.

5) I love all Zelda games, and they are one of my all time favorite games for Nintendo.

6) I wear contacts, and I probably have the worst vision out of anybody you know

7) I played soccer for 2 years, and 4 seasons when I was 8 and 9

well that ends my 7 random facts for today. And I'm starting school tomorrow so I probably won't be blogging as much, but I hope to still look at all your guy's blogs. have a great week!

the 7 people I tag are: MP, My mom, Hunts on tour, Aliya, Mrs. Gralnik, Mrs. Longtine, and Mrs. Watkins!
p.s. you don't really have to do this tag thing if you don't want to :)

This summer Elle and I have been teaching Aspen to do 3 simple commands: Sit, lie down, and shake. So I made this little video to show off her new tricks!
Starting August my mom gave us a new assignment: cooking dinner! Each of us girls get one week were we have to shop for groceries, keep a budget, and plan and make one dinner each night. So starting today I'm making dinner for the next week :) Here is what I plan to make:

Pizza
Lemon pepper grilled shrimp over salad
Lemon chicken soup with orzo
Turkey and provolone sandwiches/chocolate covered strawberries
Fettuccine Alfredo
Spinach shells
Chicken corn chowder

I hope all of these dinners turn out right! I might try to post some pictures of my meals, but until then, hope everybody has a great week!

Since Joel is going to GA Tech this fall, he has decided to move into an apartment. It is right across the street from the campus and he shares with three other room mates. Our family went there yesterday to look at his room and help him move some stuff in. Here are some pictures.
