Make A Joyful Noise

Well as I'm sure most of you knew, Calvin was starting to look very fat due to his poofy hair.
So, today he finally got a haircut! Here are some before and after pictures. Sorry about the bad lighting for the before pictures.

Well I'm going into my second week of no sugar, and I'm still feeling pretty confident that I can get through the 15 days that remain. I have resisted sweets several times, and I hope I can keep it up for 2 more weeks =] I'll keep you updated on whether I last or not hehe

Two weeks ago it was snowing, then last week it was in the high 70's! So I decided to take a few pictures of the beautiful flowers that bloomed almost overnight. I hope to have more pictures later of our cherry tree when it blooms fully. :)

Well today it has been exactly one week since I started that no sugar thing. And I must say it seems like it's been FOREVER already...But I am still hanging in there, and so far I haven't cheated yet yay! To kinda of reward myself (and the rest of our family) I made some delicious fruit salad! It's so sweet, that I almost feel it's better then sugar (almost....). Well anyways these are some nice pictures of me making the fruit salad. We don't usually have any special recipe, we just add whatever kind of fruit we have :)
